South Lake Nursery

Message for April 2020 Starters

We know you would have been due to start with us over the next few weeks and for now, like so many other things, this is on hold.  Please don’t worry, we will welcome you all to our nursery just as soon as we can and will be in touch with each of our April starter families once we have more information about schools re-opening.

We have a 52-place Nursery, with its own admissions procedure. Our Nursery is a lively, happy place where we support the children to learn through the Early Years Curriculum. We nurture our children in our well-resourced provision, adapting the curriculum to suit their needs and interests.  There is always a warm welcome in Nursery!

We offer 30-hours funded places for eligible families as well as 15 hours provision.

15 hours provision is offered as three hours per day in either a morning or afternoon block.

Nursery times are:

Morning Sessions 8:45am – 11:45am.

Afternoon Sessions 12:30pm – 3:30pm

We also have a breakfast club, lunch club and after-school club available as charged options, to provide full wrap-around care where there are spaces available.

For a place for your child in Nursery, please ask in the school office for the application form or complete the form below and return it to us along with your child's birth certificate. We apply our Nursery Admissions Policy when considering all applications. Please click on the link below to see our policy.

Entrance to Nursery has no impact on application to the main school; this is a separate admissions procedure administered by the Local Authority.
