At South Lake we believe that geography helps children to successfully navigate their world. We believe in developing children’s geographical thinking and imagination through direct experience of the world. We aim to enhance children’s global understanding and citizenship through geography.

To ensure that our pupils' geographical skills are taught sequentially and build upon previous learning, geography is taught as a lesson in its own right.
