Welcome to South Lake Primary School. It is a privilege to lead a school that has been such an important part of my life since 2002. Having worked in every year group and leadership role, I know first‑hand the strength of our community and the deep commitment we share to giving every child the very best start.

Our aim is simple: to provide an excellent education for every pupil. We offer a well‑sequenced, ambitious curriculum that builds strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, while also giving children rich opportunities to explore the wider world through the arts, sport, science and outdoor learning. At the heart of this is a belief that children learn best when they feel safe, confident and inspired.

Our staff team is dedicated, skilled and deeply caring. They know their pupils well and work with clarity, warmth and high expectations to ensure every child makes strong progress and feels proud of their achievements. We are equally committed to inclusion and to removing barriers so that all children can flourish academically, socially and emotionally.
