Welcome Message to New Parents

We are delighted to welcome you to South Lake and look forward to your family joining ours.

At this stage, we are awaiting the full admissions details from Wokingham Borough Council. This usually takes around three weeks. As soon as we receive the information we need, we will contact you with the next steps, including key dates, forms, and transition arrangements.

In the meantime, please know that we are committed to making your child’s start with us as smooth and positive as possible. Joining a new school is an exciting milestone, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

School website: You can explore our values, curriculum, and day-to-day life to get a feel for what your child will experience.
Uniform information: Many parents like to get ahead with uniform; details are available on our website.
Key dates: Once we receive your information from Wokingham, we will share induction dates, welcome events, and opportunities to meet the team.
Questions: If you have any general queries before we contact you formally, please feel free to reach out to the school office.

We admit 60 children each year to Reception and this is our Planned Admission number (PAN) for each year group.
