We have been asked to pass on the following information regarding

the Wokingham Schools concert - WSMA

Please note that in the light of expected Government advice regarding mass gatherings and the increased concern regarding coronavirus, the decision has been taken to postpone the WASMA 2020 performances that were due to take place on Sunday 22 and Sunday 29 March at the Hexagon. Headteachers have already been informed and schools will be sending out additional information to parents when it becomes available.

At the moment the events are 'postponed' rather than 'cancelled' as we are seeing if it is possible to identify new dates in the latter part of the Summer Term.  If new dates can be agreed, parents will be able to transfer their tickets to the revised performances if they wish.  Ticket refunds will also be available in due course if parents aren't able to attend the new dates, don't wish to have their tickets transferred or if measures are still in place at that time meaning the events can't go ahead.  Some aspects of this are still under discussion with The Hexagon and schools, so parents are asked to wait for more detailed information.

Postponing the March WASMA concerts has been a difficult decision to take and we know that many children and families will be disappointed, but the current challenges that we all face require strong action and we hope that parents will support the position we are taking.
