We are so pleased with how our new gated entry system is working and the additional safety this has given to our South Lake families at the beginning and end of the day.

Could we please ask that you continue to monitor your children at drop off and collection times as the car park and vehicle entrance is in constant use.  We have noticed children running up and down where the cars drive in and out and also children playing in the staff car park which is concerning and a safety issue.

With drop off and collection times being slightly different at the moment we know you may sometimes have to wait for a short while if you have children to collect across a couple of year groups.  For those of you who wait out the front of school please could we ask that children are not allowed to ring the doorbell outside the school office, or press the button to open the gates when leaving school.
